Loans

Loans may be negotiated as short term or long term. Loans may be made between the museum and Native corporations; state, federal, and municipal governments; private organizations; and individuals. However, the museum can only enter into a loan agreement with the rightful owner of the material offered on loan.

Items may be accepted for a period of up to a year for use in exhibitions or research projects. Such loans will be made at the discretion of the Museum Director.  Items may also be accepted for a loan in perpetuity.
